Principles of processing customer data to change on 17 May 2023

On 17 May 2023 Coop Pank will update its principles of processing customer data.

The main changes are as follows: 

  • A clause has been added to the effect that the forwarding of debt data to the operators of the Credit Register takes place on the basis of justified interest to enable the assessment of a client’s payment behaviour and creditworthiness.
  • Customer rights have been added, including the a customer has the right to submit objections in regard to the processing of personal data taking place on the basis of justified interest or for the fulfilment of a task which is in the public interest.
