Thanks to their speed and convenience, contactless payments have become an inseparable part of everyday shopping. Since PIN pads are among the most frequently touched surfaces in any store, Coop Pank is raising the limit on contactless payments for the duration of the coronavirus emergency so as to minimise direct contact with other people.
For as long as the state of emergency lasts, we will be enabling our clients to make contactless payments up to the value of €50 rather than the former €25. We recommend checking your card’s contactless limit. If you need or wish to, you can change it in the Mobile Bank app or in the Internet Bank by clicking on ‘My bank’, then ‘Cards’ and finally ‘Limits’.
The Mobile Bank app can be used on both Android and Apple iOS devices and can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play.
