With Coop Pank cards, you can pay as you like – even with your smartphone, watch or another smart device. You can leave your bank card at home: just add the card details in your smart device and use this safe payment option anywhere where contactless payment is accepted.

You can even pay with a ring or a smart key ring! Smart devices can be used for making quick payments anywhere where contactless payment is accepted. In order to pay, you need to enable the contactless payment function on your bank card. Payments are subject to contactless payment limits.
In addition to Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, you can also add your Coop Pank card to smart devices supported by Garmin, Fitbit, Fidesmo, Manage-Mii, Tappy, Xiaomi and Zepp.
Paying with a smart watch or other smart devices is safe since your card details are never stored on your device or in the service provider’s system. Card details are not used when making payments – instead, payments are approved based on the number linked to the device and a unique code generated for that particular transaction. You can be sure your card details are protected.
Not in Coop stores, no – cash transactions require the use of your physical Coop Pank card. As yet, ATMs that enable contactless payments cannot be used. This function will be added to our card in the future.
Unfortunately you can’t yet use your loyalty card when paying with a smart device in Coop stores – you still need your physical card in order to use self-service scanners and get discounts.
When using Apple and Google Pay, you don’t need to enable the card’s contactless payment function. In order to use Garmin and other smart devices, you need to enable contactless payments on your card and contactless payment limits are also applied.
