    Accessibility

    Using our website

Below you’ll find an overview of the technical tools that can be used on Coop Pank’s website and what our content creation principles are.

    Keyboard-only navigation

Coop Pank’s website allows you to navigate using only the keyboard: every press of the Tab key shifts the focus to the next element, and the currently active element is indicated by the box framing it. To activate this element, simply press the Enter key.

    Zooming in

    With your browser

We recommend using your browser’s built-in capabilities if you want to zoom in on something on our website.

All browsers enable zooming in and out by pressing the Ctrl key (or the Cmd key in OS X) and the + or - key, respectively.

Alternatively, you can press the Ctrl key and then scroll up (to zoom in) or down (to zoom out) with your mouse.

You can reset to the default size by pressing the Ctrl key and the 0 key.

    In your operating system

All of the major operating systems have their own built-in capabilities for zooming as well.

    In Windows, it’s Magnifier.

To use Magnifier in Windows 10, click on the Windows logo at the bottom-left of the screen while pressing the + key on your keyboard until you’ve zoomed in as much as you want to. To zoom out, repeat the process using the - key.

To use Magnifier in Windows 7, click on the start menu at the bottom-left of the screen, start typing in ‘Magnifier’ (the first few letters should be enough) and hit Enter. A little window will open displaying everything zoomed-in. The program keeps track of your cursor’s position by default

Magnifier can be found in Windows XP by clicking on Start > All Programs > Accessories > Accessibility > Magnifier.

To zoom in or out on Apple computers, click on Apple menu > System Preferences > Accessibility (or Universal Access) > Zoom.

    Using a screen reader

A screen reader is a program for use by the visually impaired. It attempts to interpret what’s being displayed on the screen and to present it to you in a different way, for instance using text-to-speech.

    Popular screen readers:

    • JAWS (Windows): http://www.freedomscientific.com
    • VoiceOver (OS X, free, built-in)
    • NVDA (Windows, free): http://www.nvaccess.org/download
    • SystemAccess (Windows): http://www.serotek.com/systemaccess

We do everything we can to ensure that the contents of our website fully comply with all screen-reader standards.

In addition to these instructions, you can improve accessibility to information by configuring your computer’s browser and operating system.

This is covered in depth on the website http://www.abilitynet.org.uk/mcmw (in English).

    Feedback

We’re constantly working to enhance the accessibility of our website. If you’d like to give us some feedback in this regard, or if something you need isn’t currently accessible, please use the contact details below to get in touch with us. We’ll get back to you ASAP, but within five working days at the latest.
