Israel’s state of war declaration changes If’s travel insurance coverage

As of 8 October 2023, If travel insurance does not cover trips to Israel. In the event that a person covered by If travel insurance has travelled to Israel before 8 October 2023, medical aid and additonal travel expenses for transportation and accommodation to return back to their home country will be covered within 14 days of travel (until 22 October 2023).
Additional travel expenses are only covered if the travel interruption insurance is included within the policy. In the event that the client has already travelled or is planning on travelling to Israel starting from 8 October 2023, If’s travel insurance coverage is not valid.
