We stop accepting payments related to Russia and Belarus

Due to the sanctions regarding the Russian-Ukrainian war, from 19.08.2022 Coop Pank AS stops accepting payments from Russia and Belarus. This means that from 19.08.2022 the accounts opened with Coop Pank AS will no longer be able to accept payments initiated by:

• Russian and Belarusian banks or other financial institutions, as well as subsidiaries or other financial institutions of these banks operating in the EU;
• companies that are not established in Russia and Belarus, but whose owners are more than 50% Russian and Belarusian;
• companies established in Russia and Belarus through any other banks or financial institutions.

In exceptional cases, payments related to Russia and Belarus, associated with the national interests of Estonia or humanitarian reasons, such as grants or pensions, are accepted. In addition, in exceptional cases and for valid reason, we allow our clients to accept payments in connection with the exit from a business associated with Russia or Belarus.
