Coop Pank shareholders approve record dividends of 8.7 cents per share

On Wednesday at the regular general meeting, Coop Pank shareholders approved dividends for the 2023 financial year in the amount of 8.7 cents per share, almost double last year’s per share rate.

The last day to purchase shares granting the right to receive dividends is April 30, 2024. Dividends will be paid to shareholders on May 7, 2024. 

At the regular general meeting of Coop Pank shareholders, held at the Mövenpick Hotel in Tallinn, 58,42% of the shares with voting rights were represented. In addition to distributing profits, shareholders also approved the report for the 2023 fiscal year, listened to the board’s review of the business environment and financial results, as well as appointed an inspector for the bank’s collateral assets. 

By the end of 2023, Coop Pank had 37,200 shareholders. 

Estonian-owned Coop Pank is one of the five universal banks operating in Estonia. The number of clients using Coop Pank for their daily banking is 187,100. Coop Pank aims to put the synergy generated by the interaction of retail business and banking to good use and to bring everyday banking services closer to people’s homes. The strategic owner of the bank is the domestic retail chain Coop Eesti comprising 320 stores.
