When financing new cars and cars up to one year old, we’re offering an interest rate starting from 1.99% + six month’s Euribor provided the CO2 emissions don’t exceed 95 g/km. The interest rate on new cars and cars up to one year old whose CO2 emissions are in the range of 95-130 g/km is 2.20% + six months’ Euribor.

Lease payment insurance

Leasing insurance protects private individuals buying cars with the help of leasing against payment difficulties in the event of job loss and disability. Leasing insurance is provided by the bank’s subsidiary Coop Liising AS in cooperation with If P&C Insurance AS.

Insurance in the case of vehicles valued at up to €10,000, comprehensive insurance is recommended rather than mandatory. Coop Pank’s insurance partners

You must be an Estonian citizen or a foreigner with an Estonian residence permit who is at least 21 years of age
You must have a minimum net income of €600 per month. Your income must be regular and documented
Your monthly leasing payment along with your other existing obligations must not exceed 40% of your net income
Leasing can be guaranteed by a spouse or partner, in which case we take both of your incomes into account
Financial lease
The initial APR of the credit is 11.65% under the following sample conditions:
Value of asset incl. VAT: €30,000
Downpayment: €3000
Contract period: 5 years
Number of repayments: 60
Contract fee: €250
Interest rate: 6 months’ Euribor + margin of 2.5% per annum (as at 7 March 2023 the 6-month Euribor rate was 3.418%, but if Euribor is negative the rate is considered 0 and Euribor may change every six months)
Leasing amount: €22,500
Residual cost: 35% of acquisition cost
Total amount of credit: €21,498.06
Total amount repayable: €24,498
This rate was calculated on the basis of the main part of the loan and interest being repaid as monthly annuity payments. The sample conditions do not take into account the potential registration costs of the asset, state fees, valuation fees or the amount of annual motor and comprehensive insurance payments. Both motor and comprehensive insurance must be taken out when leasing a vehicle. Car leasing is offered by Coop Liising AS.

The initial APR of the credit is 9.51% under the following sample conditions:

Total amount of credit: €16,557.02
Total amount repayable: €16,747.02

A guarantee is a pledge on behalf of another person or company (the borrower) to fulfil their financial obligations. You should only provide such a guarantee to a person or company you know and trust.
Don’t forget that the guarantee makes you liable for ensuring that the contract you’re guaranteeing is fulfilled.
Since you take on a financial obligation in providing a guarantee, it’s a good idea to consult a specialist before doing so.
Carefully weigh up whether you’ll be able to fulfil the obligations you’ll be taking on
Honestly and accurately evaluate your financial position and only guarantee an amount you’ll be capable of repaying if you need to (known as the maximum rate of guarantor liability)
Read the guarantee contract and the loan contract documents drawn up by the bank very closely
Contact bank staff to get answers to any questions you have
Pay close attention to the explanations the bank employee gives you regarding both the loan contract and the guarantee contract
Don’t be afraid to ask questions if anything is unclear
Make sure your contact details (address, telephone number and e-mail address) are set out correctly in the contract
Take an active interest in whether and how the borrower is fulfilling their contract. If they don’t respond to any of your queries, be sure to contact the bank
Always inform us of any changes to your contact details (address, telephone number and/or e-mail address). That’s the only way you can be sure that the information you need will reach you
Carefully read any notifications the bank sends you and make sure you collect any registered mail from us
The bank will contact you and give you the opportunity to fulfil the obligations
Don’t forget that you have taken on these obligations in providing your guarantee, meaning you have to fulfil them on behalf of the borrower if need be
By repaying the debt you can avoid incurring additional costs and prevent the matter from being taken to court
You have the right to demand that the borrower compensate you for any amounts you’ve paid

When you buy a vehicle via leasing, it has to be insured. We offer our own motor insurance, comprehensive insurance and leasing payment insurance through Coop Kindlustusmaakler. You’ll find offers for all of these on our website.
When signing up for a leasing contract, the Lessee can enter into an agreement on the payment of the fee related to leasing payment insurance and make use of the insurance cover offered by If Kindlustus.
