    Energy efficiency loan

    The energy efficiency loan, which comes with a long repayment period, is intended for companies and apartment associations looking to finance environmentally friendly and resource-efficient investments.

    It can be used, for example, to finance renewable energy solutions, refurbishments, new or renovated equipment and digitalisation.

    Funding is available for projects that help to reduce energy consumption, improve resource efficiency or make a company's operations more environmentally sustainable. The investment must be consistent with climate objectives and the principles of corporate responsibility.

    Generation of renewable energy

    The loan can be used to finance the likes of biogas or wood-chip plants, solar, wind or battery farms and other renewable energy projects.

    Transmission and distribution of electricity

    We provide funding for electric car chargers and energy-efficient combined heat and power plants, as well as district heating and cooling.

    Energy efficiency and renovation

    We provide funding for the construction of new buildings and the renovation of existing buildings, production lines and equipment.

      Energy efficiency loan – good to know

      • Repayment period of up to 7 years

      • Bank financing of up to 80% of the project cost

      • Minimum loan amount is €50,000

      • The loan amount is disbursed in one lump sum or in instalments to the company's current account at Coop Pank

      • Collateral

        - Mortgage on real estate (developed land, apartment ownership, right of superficies)

        - EIS (formerly KredEx) or MES guarantee, commercial pledge on fixed assets and other movable property, deposit, guarantee by a natural or legal person

      • A commercial company registered in the Republic of Estonia or a sole proprietor registered in the commercial register

      • Apartment association registered in Estonia

      • The equity of the commercial company must comply with the requirements established by law

      • Loan application

      • Financial statements

        - Annual report for the last 2 financial years (audited annual report, if audit is mandatory and the report has not been submitted to the commercial register)

        - Quarterly financial reports for the current financial year, not older than 3 months

      • Expert valuation of the collateral prepared by a real estate firm accepted by Coop Pank
