Changes to business client price list as of 1 September 2022

Coop Pank will be updating its business client price list on 1 September 2022.

The key changes are set out below.

Opening a current account

  • With the changes to the price list, the account opening fee will now apply to Estonian legal persons whose ownership structure includes persons with links to foreign countries. The fee is 200 or 500 euros depending on the countries to which the ownership structure is linked.
  • The account opening fee which applies to legal persons with a specific field of activity will remain at 500 euros. Specific fields of activity are the production/sale/purchase of weapons and/or ammunition (excl. hunting associations, shooting ranges and sports clubs); or gambling services; or currency exchange; or pawnbrokers; or the production of military vehicles; or the provision of cash transport services; or joint financing platforms or the offering of payday loans; or mining; or the buying in and/or wholesaling of precious metals, precious stones and precious-metal products; or the provision of a virtual-currency service (the bank does not enable the serving of these clients); or the activities of a bailiff; or a credit or financing institution.
  • The account opening fee will now be charged ahead of the account being opened and is not subject to reimbursement if the bank decides not to open the account.

Account maintenance

  • The fee for enhanced due diligence measures will now also apply to credit and financing institutions and if the bank applies enhanced due diligence measures and/or additional due diligence measures to a legal person in the meaning of the Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Prevention Act.
  • The bank will apply the due diligence fees for account management to clients who are legal persons whose ownership structure includes persons linked to foreign countries or in the case of which there is another basis for the bank to exercise due diligence to a greater degree or extent.

Monthly fees

  • The monthly credit card fee will rise from 1 euro to 3 euros.
  • The monthly bank link fee will rise from 0.15 euros to 0.25 euros (except in the Corporate Plan, where it will remain free of charge).

Closing an account

  • A fee of 50 euros will be introduced for the extraordinary closing of an account.

Term deposit

  • We are amending the fee for the early termination of a term deposit in the price list for business clients.
  • We are amending the procedure for the early termination of a term deposit in the standard terms and conditions of term deposit contracts.
