Kia models are added to Coop Liising car dealership

The leasing subsidiary of Coop Pank, which according to the new concept has also independently offered cars in Estonia since the beginning of June, has now expanded its range of Škoda cars with the most popular Kia models.

The range of the Coop Liising car dealership was initially expanded with 10 Kia vehicles: five Sportage crossovers and five Ceed passenger cars. Martin Ilves, head of Coop Liising, explained that when expanding the range of the dealership, the decision was made in favour of Kia, since it is one of the most popular brands on the market, and the Sportage crossover has become one of the models most frequently funded Coop this year. “Coop car dealership was launched successfully: of the 20 Škoda vehicles we received in June 18 have already been sold. This gives us the confidence to expand our activities and the range of models offered,” Ilves said.

The Coop car dealership differs from conventional ones in that it provides clients with a “one-stop-shop” solution which implies that the clients will be able to choose their new vehicle and select a suitable financing and insurance solution at the same time, all in one place.

According to Martin Ilves, the solution offered by Coop Liising is well suited to those clients who consider car leasing to be a monthly expense and after the end of the current lease period plan to lease another car. “You can lease a car without a down payment, and the residual value at the end of the lease period that is higher than usual ensures a competitive monthly payment during the period of using the car,” Ilves added.

“It is not competing with automobile dealerships which is our goal but cooperating with them. Coop retail chain and Coop Pank combined have nearly 700,000 clients whom our automobile offers can reach through our cannels, but, naturally, any Estonian residents will be able to buy a car in our dealership,” Ilves added.

To purchase a car, the client will not have to leave home: it can be ordered, all the required optional equipment included, through the bank’s web page, and this is also where the convenient financing and insurance solutions can be chosen. The car will be delivered to the client’s home address should they request it. The available range of cars can be viewed here.
